1st Weekend: A Walk into Nature

Friday July 20    16hrs        Ulme 35 Salon hinten

Short introduction to the project complemented by a photography workshop explaining the cameras provided for the project to participants. Every participant receives her blank book, a short introduction to creative journaling is given, as well as a little Wanderrucksack. (Drinks provided)

Saturday July 21    11hrs        Meeting point: Ulme 35

1st walk: Teufelsberg (The devil's mountain). On our first walk we will walk up to one of the few mountains (hills) in Berlin; this one is, as many others, woman-made: survivors of the second world war collected the rubble of destroyed buildings unfit to be reused, and heaped it in a particular place, in this case over the never completed Nazi military-technical college. While walking through the history reclaimed by nature, we will collect natural objects and ideas for the workshop on the following day. Once on top of the hill, we will have a picknick.

Sunday July 22        11-18hrs    Ulme 35, Atelier / Wintergarten

In a writing and art workshop we will process our impressions, thoughts and ideas as short texts and paintings or drawings. (Drinks are provided throughout the day, as well as a cooked lunch).

Childcare is provided on all three days
