In his lecture El-Kothany offers an insight into the Libya of the year 2017 and sheds some light on the country, its people and their culture, supporting his talk by a visual presentation. He will also report first-hand on the state of the society and politics.

Dr. Aly Masednah El-Kothany

Dr. Aly El-Kothany studierte in Marburg und Heidelberg Medizin, er spezialisierte sich in Innerer Medizin, Sportmedizin und Sozialmedizin. Im Dez. 2009 wurde ihm das Verdienstkreuz am Bande von Bundespräsident Horst Köhler verliehen. Nach der Revolution 2011 wurde er libyscher Botschafter in Deutschland. Im September 2012 trat er zurück.
